Topper Europeans 2026, Malta - are you in?

ITCA World is looking to reinstate the Topper European Championships in 2026, in order to answere many requests to provide more international Topper racing, 

The tentative destination for the 2026 Topper Europeans is Malta, known for its excellent weather conditions and popularity as a year-round dinghy sailing destination. The proposed dates are the 28^th to 31^st March, the beginning of the Easter holidays. Hosted by the Vikings Sailing Club in Floriana, racing would be held off Sliema, where spectators can get a good view of the action, within the setting of Marsamxett harbour. The average daytime temperature is around 18 degrees while the sea temperature is around 16 degrees - similar conditions to what we have in Medemblick.

There is plenty of accommodation nearby, and the neighbouring 5-star Grand Hotel Excelsior is keen to support the event. Direct flights from the UK and Ireland are cheap at this time of year, and direct boat transport on a multiple trailer from the UK is around £400 return, back in time for your next event.
