They have secured the services of a panel of international judges and Alan Crosbie, a qualified international race officer, to ensure the event runs smoothly and efficiently. Thomas Chaix, the Irish coach for the Topper Worlds in 2008, is a member of Tralee Bay Sailing Club and his experience at previous events will be invaluable to the local organising committee. There is also a lively social calendar planned around the event, with entertainment in the Clubhouse in Fenit and at various venues throughout Tralee. This event hopes to attract at least 1,200 people to the town for the week.
